During a hike at Neys Provincial Park on Lake Superior I found this rock. Its taller than me. And seems completely out of place on the trail. Covered in moss and made up of several rock forms fused together it seemed to have its own presence. I photographed it extensively and this painting is the result.
This original painting is 20” high and 14” wide on mixed media paper. Its currently unframed but will be mounted on a panel for display during the exhibition.
This painting is part of the “Superior Rocks” Art Show and Exhibition, open during the month of April 2026.
