Created in studio from my experiences at Lake Superior and my research into its creation story. This painting depicts the combination of volcanic activity and glacial powers that created the deep basin of Lake Superior. I will be presenting the story during the opening reception of the exhibition, “Superior Rocks” on April 12th, 2026. See below for full details.
