Inspired by the rocky shoreline of Lake Superior and some very specific rocks I saw in a specific spot, this piece illustrates the glow of the sun on these ancient landforms.
This original water-based ink painting is 16” high and 20” wide on stretched watercolour paper. The low profile edges have the art wrapped around them. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.
This painting is part of the “Superior Rocks” Art Show and Exhibition, open during the month of April 2026.
