Ancients at Katherine Cove

$206.00

Created en plein air - outdoors on location - this painting expresses the rolling forms of the pre-Cambrian rock along the shoreline of Katherine Cove, at Lake Superior. The day was beautiful. Cool temperatures, warm sun and a soft breeze wafting across the lake.

The beautiful contrasts of warm and cool colours will complement any decor from a warm wall to a cool theme.

This original painting is 11” high and 14” wide with a depth of 1.5”. The artwork wraps halfway around the edges which are then finished in black. This provides a clean, finished, high-end look and makes the work ready to display without the need for a frame.

This painting is part of the “Superior Rocks” Art Show and Exhibition, open during the month of April 2026. You are invited to attend the Opening Reception at St James Church, 137 Melvin Ave Dundas on April 12th from 12:30 to 2:30. Cheryl will present her Artist Talk at 1pm. RSVP not required but appreciated. Please contact Christine if you wish to view the exhibition during the month of April on your own time. She can be reached here.
